The Book of Philippians

Today we’re going to pause and reflect on the “JOY GEMS” we’ve uncovered so far in the book of Philippians… and there are still more to come.

It’s beautiful to realize that the words JOY, REJOICE or REJOICING appear around 16 to 20 times in just four short chapters, depending on which version of the Bible you’re reading. That alone reminds us how central JOY is to the life God calls us to.

As we take this journey through life, we’re reminded that we walk by faith—not by sight—and that it is the Lord’s desire for us to experience JOY along the way. Not just at the destination, but in every step of the journey.

And through his words, the apostle Paul gives us such beautiful and practical guidance on how to live that out—how to remain rooted, faithful, complete in Christ, willing to be offered, and ready to share… holding onto JOY no matter what we face.

So today, let’s gently revisit these truths, allowing them to settle deeper into our hearts, and ask the Lord to help us walk them out with a steady, unshakable JOY.
