Dance with Joy

eremiah 31:13 paints a beautiful picture of JOY restored - for young and old alike.

“The young women will dance for JOY, and the men—old and young—will join in the celebration.”

This joy was not shallow happiness based on easy circumstances. God was speaking to people who had known sorrow, loss, and waiting. Yet He promised that mourning would not have the final word. He would bring comfort, healing, and gladness again.

The word joy here carries the sense of overflowing celebration — the kind that moves people to dance, gather together, and rejoice openly. It is joy born from God’s faithfulness.
