AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’RE TURNING THE PAGE!

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…” — Ephesians 2:8

Well, friends…here we are! 31 days of walking together through God’s grace and mercy.

Before we close this chapter, I want to leave you with two simple truths:

Mercy is God NOT giving us what we deserve.

Grace is God GIVING us something we don’t deserve.

As a mom, I’ve had plenty of practice with both!

There were times when my kids did something they absolutely knew they shouldn’t have done. They knew there would be a consequence, but sometimes Mom chose to let it go. That’s mercy.

And then there were times when I blessed my kids - not because they earned it but simply because I loved them. That’s grace.

Now, think about our Heavenly Father. We have sinned and failed, yet God doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve. That’s mercy.

And then He gives us what we could never earn—His presence, His love, and the hope we have in Jesus of spending eternity in heaven. That’s grace.

Psalm 103:10 says, “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”

What an incredible God we serve!

And that’s why “O Glorious Day” is the perfect song to close this journey. Because grace and mercy aren’t just words. They point us to Jesus—the One who took what I deserved so I could receive what I could never earn. He died for my sin, He rose again, and because He lives, I have hope. Oh, what a glorious day!

And now…we turn the page!
