My Joy & My Crown
“My dear brothers and sisters… whom I love and long for… my JOY and crown…” Philippians 4:1
Paul’s words are so tender—so personal.
People.
That’s what he treasures.
What does he call them?
My JOY. My crown.
Not achievements.
Not success.
Not comfort.
Faithful people become the reward.
When we live with eternity in view—remembering what came before and what is to come—
we find strength to remain faithful right now.
And in that faithfulness…
JOY is born.
Who are the “JOY and crown” in your life?
The ones you pray for… encourage… walk alongside…
One day you will see—
Your time… your work… was never wasted.
Your JOY is not found in what you achieve…
but in who you are loving in Christ.
Lord, Thank You for the people who are my JOY and crown. Help me love them well and stay faithful. Fix my eyes on You, and let Your JOY fill me. Amen.
