Women of Jesus’ Family Tree

Matthew 1 is more than a genealogy — it is a testimony of grace. Hidden within the family tree of Jesus are the stories of five women whose lives were marked by pain, scandal, loss, shame, and surrender, yet God wove each one into His redemptive plan.

Psalm 119:111 says, “Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the JOY of my heart.”

These women became part of that heritage — living testimonies of God’s grace, redemption, and JOY

JOY was not born from perfect circumstances. It came through the presence of God moving in imperfect lives.

And the same God who redeemed their stories is still writing redemption into ours.
