Mother’s Day Looks Different

Mother’s Day looks a little different for me because part of my heart is already in Heaven with my beautiful daughter, Joy. Yet even in grief, God continues to remind me that JOY is deeper than circumstances — it is found in Him.

“Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5

Today I hold close the memories, the love, and the hope that God still uses to bring beauty, comfort, and JOY to the heart.

Missing my beautiful mom a little extra today. Heaven holds such precious treasures — my mom and my Joy.

“I will see you again and you will REJOICE, and no one will take away your JOY.” — John 16:22

Until that sweet reunion, I hold tightly to love, memories, and the hope of Heaven. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.
