Jesus Carried Me

There are seasons in life when grief, fear, exhaustion, heartbreak, illness, or disappointment left me unable to keep going on my own. Scripture reminds us that in those moments, God does not abandon us — He draws closer.

The verse that became the foundation of my ministry is 2 Corinthians 1:4, which speaks of the comfort God gives us in our suffering so that we can later comfort others.

Many people who have walked through deep pain discover afterward that Jesus was carrying them the entire time, even when they could not feel His presence clearly. That was me.

What I once viewed as broken pieces of my life, God was gently gathering in His hands. The tears, the questions, the sleepless nights, the disappointments, and the wounds I thought would define me forever were not wasted. Little by little, He began weaving them together into something beautiful — a tapestry of joy, grace, compassion, and purpose.

Only God can take pain and transform it into ministry. Only He can bring beauty from ashes and strength from suffering. The very places where I was wounded became the places where His love shined the brightest. And now, the comfort He poured into my life is the same comfort I can extend to others walking through their own valleys.

There were moments I thought I would never laugh again, never feel peace again, never see beyond the sorrow. But God was writing a story bigger than my pain. Every thread — even the dark ones — became part of His masterpiece. What once felt heavy with grief is now woven with hope, joy, and a deeper understanding of His faithfulness.

Jesus carried me when I could no longer walk, and through every trial, He was creating something eternal within me. My testimony is not that life was easy, but that God was faithful through it all.
