God is still Weaving Joy

Psalm 126 is so meaningful because it tells the story of people who believed their best days were behind them. God’s people had endured loss, displacement, grief, and years of longing while living in exile in Babylon. Then suddenly, God made a way home. Their sorrow turned into rejoicing, and they stood amazed at what He had done: “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.”

This Psalm is such a beautiful reminder that God is still in the business of restoration. He still brings beauty out of brokenness, harvest after hard seasons, and joy after long nights.

This wheat field feels like a picture of seeds faithfully sown through every season of life, while the mist over the mountains reminds me that even when things seem unclear, God is still working behind the scenes. And just like the Psalm says, the same God who carried His people home is still weaving joy into the tapestry of our lives today.
